This couple, this shoot, this day! Leigh and Boldrin are two crazy-in-love individuals and their happiness and excitement about life is just so infectious.
We braved the CBD on the day of the Cape Town Carnival for their engagement shoot, managing to get a photo with some of the brave fire fighters AND security let us take a quick snap in the middle of the parade moments before it started!

Some background about the couple (from Leigh):

How did you meet?
Boldrin and I met at our local church youth group, we hated eachother at first because I was too selective with friends (meaning he thought I was stuck up) and he had a big female following (he was the only single male at the youth for a year) which put me off.

What shared interests do you have?
We own shares at Ster-Kinekor (not really)! You will probably find us at Cape Gate cinema on a Saturday. And we love adventures – we climb on a train to Town and see where the day takes us. We take the train because its exciting, the characters you meet and the time you spend together is awesome (the alternative is fighting over directions in the car).

How did Boldrin propose?
Boldrin proposed on my birthday on top of Table Mountain, which we almost never made because I was sick as a dog. But 2 bottles of energade, 1 bio plus sachet and a cocktail of flu medication managed to save the day.

How do you both envision your wedding day?
It’s the day we finally start our lives together – everything else are just minor details.
